HOME GUARDS ORGANISATION STRENGTH

The sanctioned strength of Home Guards in Vizianagaram District is 651 including 73 of women Home Guards. The District consists of 2 Units i.e., Vizianagaram and Bobbili.

Welfare Measures for Home Guards

1. Home Guards were Received Cooperative Loans each Rs.70,000/- by Salary recovery.
2. Name plates are issued to all Home Guards.
3. Nose masks &Traffic equipments (Red jacket ,helmets batons light etc.) are issued to Vizianagaram District duty Home Guards.
4. Medical reimbursement bill sanctioned to eligible Home Guards.
5. Marriage grant provided to all Home Guards.
6. Medical grant provided to all Home Guards
7. 2 days paid leave and 90 days Maternity leave provided to Women Home Guards.
8. Hospital facility provided to HGs at Police welfare hospital, Vizianagaram.
9. Mineral Water provided to all Home Guards in Police Mineral water Plants.
10. Dist.Home Guard men are utilizing police Subsidiary canteen facility
